Loom-to-You Authenticity

Every region has its own weave, its own weavers, and its own truth. Here's ours, disclosed plainly.

Handloom vs Powerloom

Why We Say It Out Loud

Handloom silk takes a skilled weaver anywhere from 3 days to 3 months to complete a single saree, depending on the intricacy of the zari work. Powerloom sarees can be produced in under an hour on a machine — and are frequently sold online as "pure handloom silk" at handloom prices. It's the single biggest trust problem in this category.

On Padmora, every product page carries a Loom-to-You card naming the weaver or artisan house, their region, and an honest loom-type tag — Handloom, Handcrafted, or Powerloom. That's also why our catalog is deliberately small: we only add a craft once Yashi and team have verified it in person.

This is the full list — we'll add a new craft only after Yashi and team have verified the artisans behind it in person.
